About me

I started my studies at the University of Waterloo in their Mechanical Engineering Program. I found myself fixated on a drafting course and I wanted more of it. I pivoted to the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Interior Design where I connected with a human-scale of design with a heavy focus on texture and light. I was captivated by the Set Design course as I experienced the magic of turning a script into a space. I enjoyed the first 5 years of my career designing restaurants at Commute Design, I found myself fixated on the narrative of why one would visit a restaurant. Wanting to help translate stories to the screen I sought the advice of my Set Design professor and with his mentorship began my career in the film industry. I feel fortunate to be working in a field of endless learning where I can look up to those with more experience and share what I can with those beginning their journey.
